Married Margaret Kirkpatrick in 1775. “1775 Nov 6th Wm Corrie Millar of Sned Miln Glencairn to Margaret Kirkpatrick, daughter to Robt Kirkpatrick Farmer in Collin, there”. Sned Miln would appear to be Snademill near Wallaceton on the Cairn Water, so it may be that William was born in that area.

They had 10 children: Elizabeth b 1778, Robert b 1781, Janet b ?, John (1) b 1784, Sarah b 1785, Mary b 1787, Thomas, b 1789, John (2) b 1791, Margaret b 1793 and James Charters b 1797, all born at Hollies or Hollows farm which may be the farm marked as HoleHouse - near Gairloch by Torthorwald, where William was a tenant farmer.
