Sarah Corrie 1785-1847

Born:

1785 Sarah Corrie, b 4 Feb, bapt. 6 Feb, fifth child and third daughter of William Corrie, tenant farmer at Hollows, Torthorwald, and Margaret Kirkpatrick:
“daughter of Wm Corrie, tenant Hollies. Bpd there on Feb 6 th afternoon after being intimated. The child being indisposed”. Parents must have been worried sick after their last child died as an infant only a year before. I wonder if they were desperate to have her baptised quickly.
