Born:

Sep 1810, fifth daughter and fourteenth of 15 children of Alexander Clement and Grizell Allan, in the parish of Balmaclellan, Kircudbrightshire. Christened at Balmaclellan Parish Church (Church of Scotland) on 2 Sep 1810.

Life:

Present at the wedding of sister Rosanna to James Charters Currie in 1824.

At St. Dunston's Stepney, Middlesex, on the 17th Instant George Wilson, draper Nottingham Pace London, formerly of Carty near Newton Stewart to Miss Margaret Clement, third daughter of Alexander Clement of Balmaclellan.

Margaret would have been just (literally!) 16. IGI records: James b 1827 and Alexander Clement b 1828, christened St Vincent St Scotch Church, Stepney. It looks like the family then moved back home for the birth of Margaret 1830 and John Clement 1832 in Balmaclellan. Further child Agnes born Penninghame 1838 (1841 and 1851 census).
