| James Charters Currie 1826-? | |
Born: 27 Sep 1826, second son of James Charters Currie and Rosanna Clement. Christened at St Vincent Street Scotch Church, Stepney on 5 Nov 1826. Life: In 1855 , at the time of the death of sister Rosanna (#2), James was in Australia (therefore age 29) along with younger brother William, age 24. In 1861 he was working on a Station in Australia (sheep station?) Times are hard, lots of unemployment and workers on the station are getting their wages lowered. Unable to help out Father by sending money home, but hoping for more prosperous times. After this we hear no more of James. Died:
